Kevin Garnett AKA “The Big Ticket” Retires from the NBA | Hoops Talk Nation



After a stellar career that spanned for 21 seasons, Kevin Garnett AKA The Big Ticket has officially retired from the NBA and leaves behind a legacy of a fierce competitor who`s intensity brought the best out of his opponents.

KG came into the league in 1995, the first player to do so in two decades and paved the way for others like Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Tracy McGrady to follow him. The 15 time All Star leaves the game having won the league MVP award in 2004, a championship with the Celtics in 2008, a defensive player of the year honors plus a host of other accolades which all can directly be attributed to his tremendous work ethic and love for the game.

Kevin Draves is the host of the The Howl podcast on and is a longtime follower of the T-Wolves club.  He joins the Hoops Talk Nation podcast and offers his unique perspective on the player known as KG and provides further insight into a remarkable Hall of Fame career.
